YaY!!!!! Priyanka goes to The Oscars

Priyanka Chopra will be presenting an award at the 2016 Oscars!!! It is huge news for the Indian Film Industry and obviously Priyanka herself.  The actor who won the Favorite Actress in a New TV series award at the People’s Choice Awards for the TV show, is ecstatic with this new announcement.

This is what she tweets upon getting the news…

Chopra’s American  TV show debut series Quantico has received positive reviews on international websites Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic & has definitely helped her get recognized at the international scene. A hard working power packed performer, she has been critically acclaimed for her performances in movies such as Barfi!, Kaminey and Mary Kom and Bajirao Mastani. She has won many awards including a National Award in 2008. Last week, the actress was chosen for India’s third highest civilian honor, the Padma Shri.

On whether she has decided upon her outfit for the D-Day or not, she says, “It probably won’t be an all-Indian avatar. It will be quite a process for my stylist. I am not someone who plans in advance. It is always about what mood I am in. I like being comfortable and I like to have fun with my clothes. I like to feel good in what I’m wearing but I don’t let anyone dictate what I should wear either.”
