After a bath, apply a body lotion/cream while the skin is still damp. It helps to seal the moisture. The moisturizer/cream should be enriched with Vitamin A and E.
Moisturize your feet. Feet need stronger moisturizing stuff than the rest of the body. So use lotions that contain petroleum jelly or glycerin. Also use a pumice stone to remove the dead skin cells regularly. This helps the moisturizer to sink in better and faster.
Keep your hands moist, especially in cold, dry weather. The skin on our hands is thinner than the rest of the body which is why they become dry and itchy much quicker than the rest of the body.
Drink plenty of fluids to keep self hydrated during the dry winter months.
