We are Indian Women and our skin tones range between various shades of ivory to ebony. So it is obvious that the same shade of concealer or lipstick or eye shadows will not suit everyone uniformly. As a makeup artist, I realize that people often get confused or concerned as to what lipstick would suit them or not.
According to me, here are 12 shades that are bold and suit the wheatish & the dusky complexioned ladies. The following shades range from red to wine, pink to mauve and corals to nude. So you can choose the bolds as party wears and the neutrals for regular or office wears.
Texture: Retro matte – it’s said that “Every girl needs to own at least 1 red lipstick” then this is the one she should go for. RUBY WOO is a classic universally flattering red. This is mac’s bestseller and it suits almost all skin tones. It instantly brightens up your face. It’s neither too warm nor too cool it has a perfect matte formula!!! Since it’s in the retro matte finish it feels dry on application so make sure u moisturize your lips.
Wouldn’t recommend for dry & chapped lips!!!
