An apple body type: apple-body-typeThe apple shape body type posses charming and beautiful limbs with slim looking arms and legs but a heavy center giving curve to your figure. Generally described as top-heavy, less number of women possesses this type of body shape.

Dressing Tips: To dress successfully for the apple body, you need to direct attention away from your upper part, and wear clothes to accentuate other parts. Draw attention away from your waist and shoulders/arms (wear long sleeves), and draw attention to your bust and neck. Avoid dresses and belts that pinch at your waist. This will most likely accentuate curves that you may not wish to show off. Choose flared pants over straight-leg or skinny pants, and to help balance out wide shoulders and/or a heavy upper body. Wear tops that drape over any curves if you wish.

A pear body type: pear-body-typeBeing the opposite of an apple body type means you are a pear body type. This one is usually bottom-heavy (triangle), you’ll notice if this is your body quite quickly, as your lower body: hips, thighs, and sometimes your behind are more noticeable with narrow shoulders not very broad.

A pear shaped body is usually described as the most “curvaceous”.

Dressing Tips: Keep attention to your upper body, by minimizing the lower half. Try to wear tops that accentuate your shoulders a bit more. Avoid pants or tights that narrow your legs. Consider wearing a bra that enhances your bust. Wear straight-leg or slightly flared pants with heels.

A Banana (straight/rectangle) body type.rectangle-body-type With this body type, you may have a long, thin body that tends to lack curves. Maximum ladies are of this shape where the waist is about the same as hips and bust. Your silhouette isn’t as curvy as the pear or apple bodies. Instead, you’ll look fairly straight up with flat shoulders.

Dressing Tips: Try to add some curves to your waist by adding a belt to your dress. Try miniskirts and bright tights to make the most of your great legs. Wearing a bra that enhances your bust should be considered so as to look curvy.
